5 Mistakes You’re Making when Throwing a Halloween Party

If you’re not attending a Halloween Party this year we’re going to assume you’re throwing one. Make sure you’re not making these mistakes this year when planning your party.

Mistake #1: Not Focusing on Creating a Vibe

  1. Decorations you can make from stuff around the house.
    - Pentagram on the Floor (magnetic tape)
  2. Decorations you reuse next year
    - Bloody Banners and Decals (Butcher Knifes, Bloody Decal)
    - Spiderwebs
    - Amazon Bats

Mistake #2: Sleeping on the need for Haunted Lighting
If you want a more refined look than a stripe of LED lights, we recommend buying LED coloured lightbulbs where you can control the colours.

Mistake #3: Not Having Spooky Punch
We recommend investing in vintage style punch bowl (I found both the ones I have for under $25/£20 in the UK and US on Facebook Marketplace). Make a red cocktail like sangria  or add black dye to any recipe with creepy additions such as plastic eyeballs
     or ghost shaped apple slices.

Mistake #4: Not Doing a Halloween Costume Contest (with prizes!)
In previous years I’ve given prizes of potion bottles filled with boozey shots and skull shaped pint glasses.

Mistake #5 Not Planning the perfect Spooky and Spicy Playlist.
Lucky for you I already have a 9 hours playlist made.
